Learn how to enable, manage, and limit internal calls in Maqsam to facilitate seamless communication across your organization.

🔍 Overview of Internal Calls

Internal calls are direct user-to-user calls used within the company to simplify communication across departments or international offices.

Internal Calls Details:

  • Admins can request to disable this feature via Maqsam Support.

  • Admins can limit the duration of internal calls; by default, there is no limit.

  • Internal calls can be filtered from the Calls Page under filtration properties.

  • Users engaged in an internal call will have a Busy status and cannot receive inbound calls during this time.


⚙️ How to Enable Internal Calls

  1. Log in to your Maqsam Portal Account using your username and password.

  2. Confirm with Maqsam Support that internal calls are allowed on your account.

  3. As an Admin, click the Users tab.

  4. Scroll to the Internal column and toggle it on for users you wish to allow internal calls.

  5. Scroll up to the Users tab and locate the agent(s) you want to enable internal calls for.

  6. Click the toggle button to enable internal calls for the selected agents.


⚙️ How to Limit the Duration for Internal Calls

  1. Log in to your Maqsam account using your username and password.

  2. As an Admin, click Settings.

  3. Under General Settings, scroll down to Internal Calls Timeout (seconds).

    • Adjust the timeout to your preference.

    • Use the toggle button to disable the timeout if desired.

  4. Click Update to save changes.
