Zendesk Integration Guide
Learn how to integrate Maqsam with Zendesk using the Marketplace app to manage and log calls directly in Zendesk
In this guide, we will go over how Maqsam can be integrated with Zendesk. You will need to make sure that your agents are with the “Talk-Partner” Edition seats.
⚙️ How To Build the Integration
Step 1: Sign in to your Zendesk account and navigate to the Marketplace.
Step 2: Search for Maqsam app under Keywords.
Step 3: Click on Install.
Step 4: Once installed, select your Zendesk account from the drop-down menu and then click on Install.
Step 5: You will be taken to another page where you can either enable or disable user and group role restriction. Select the most convenient settings then click on Install.
Step 6: Click on Apps and Integrations, you will notice that Maqsam is added to your installed apps.
Step 7: Now you will need to authorize Zendesk within your Maqsam account. An account admin is needed for this action.
Login to Maqsam Portal and navigate to the Account Settings, and click on Zendesk under Integrations.
Step 8: Add your Domain, your API token retrieved from Zendesk, and the Default admin email. Set the settings to your preferred settings, and click on automatically assign users. Then click on Enable and Update.
