Pipedrive Integration Guide

In this guide, we will go over how Maqsam can be integrated with Pipedrive. Please be aware that the integration with Pipedrive can only be used on Internet Explorer as the Tel Link feature of Pipedrive can only be used on Internet Explorer. To complete the integration, you will need an admin account on both Pipedrive and Maqsam.

How To Build the Integration

Please follow the steps below to build the integration
Step 1: Our support team will have to activate the Tel Links for your agents who make use of the outbound calling feature. 
Step 2: On your Pipedrive account, make sure that you retrieve the Domain and the API token.
  1. The Domain can be found at the URL which looks like Name-of-company.pipedrive.com.
  2. The API token, click on your image icon then select Personal Preferences. Then click on APIs and click on Copy to copy the token. 

Step 3: Go to Maqsam’s Portal, and navigate to Pipedrive under the Integrations menu. 

Step 4: Next, insert the Domain and API token to the fields and adjust the settings to your preference, and click on Update and Enable

Step 5: Now on Pipedrive side, you will need to make a few edits to the settings to allow a default number to be set as the calling number. From the left menu; select Tools and apps. 

Step 6: Under Phone calls navigate to Default calling app and change the settings to be Default phone calling handler as the Default Phone Calling App.  Insert the default phone number. This will be the default phone number which was assigned to you by Maqsam.

Make sure to enable the Tel Link feature on your browser in order to be able to make calls using Pipedrive. Make sure you click "Allow" once your browser asks for permission to use the Tel Links.

Or navigate to Protocol Handlers in your browser Settings and add Portal.maqsam.com as the default tel link.
