🔍 Overview of Phonebook in Maqsam
Maqsam allows you to manage your phonebook to keep your contact information organized and easily accessible. You can create lists to categorize your contacts, use filters to reach them easily, and separate contacts into high and normal priority. This helps improve your clients’ experience when they reach out to you.
⚙️ How to Create Lists in Phonebook
Follow the steps below to create lists for organizing your contacts:

Log in to Maqsam using your username and password.

Navigate to Phonebook.

Click Lists, then click + New List.

Add a List Name, select the contacts to be added to the list, and click Save.
⚙️ How to Manage Phonebook in Maqsam
Follow the steps below to add and manage contacts in your phonebook:

Log in to the Maqsam Portal using your username and password.

Click on the Phonebook tab.

Navigate to the Contacts section.

Click on Add Contact.

Fill in the contact details, including the name, phone number, list the contact is part of, and whether the contact is high priority.

Save the contact and repeat the process to add more contacts.

Use the Search and Filter tools to find specific contacts easily.

You can also upload your contacts using the Import button.
⚙️ How to Set a Priority Contact
Follow the steps below to mark a contact as high priority:

Set the contact as high priority while creating a new contact.

Or, from the phonebook, turn on the Priority toggle for an existing contact.

⚙️ How to Add Bulk Contacts to Phonebook
Follow the steps below to upload contacts in bulk:

Log in to the Maqsam Portal using your username and password.

Click on the Phonebook tab.

Navigate to the Contacts section.

Click on the Upload button.

Select a CSV file with the following structure:

The file contains only one sheet.
-
The sheet includes exactly three columns: Name, Phone, and High Priority.
-
Phone numbers must follow the international format (e.g. 966XXX, 971XXXX).
-
The High Priority column must contain either TRUE or FALSE.

⚙️ How to Allow Agents to Access the Phonebook
Admins can allow agents to access the phonebook by following these steps:

Log in to your Maqsam account as an admin.

Navigate to Account Settings.
-
Enable the option to Allow all users to access the phonebook.
