FreshDesk Integration Guide
Learn how to integrate Maqsam with Freshdesk to bring calling features and customer interaction data directly into your support tickets
In this guide, we will go over how Maqsam can be integrated with Freshdesk to allow you and your team to have a seamless integration experience, and help move the bells and whistles of Maqsam to Freshdesk.
How To Build the FreshDesk Integration
Please follow the steps below to build the integration
Step 1: This action can only be completed by the Super Admin of the organization. On your Dashboard, click on the Marketplace icon on the top right corner, then click on Marketplace Apps from the drop down menu.
Step 2: In the Marketplace search bar, search for Maqsam.
Next, click on Install and our app will appear immediately in the list of your installed Apps.
Step 3: In order to authorize Maqsam, you’ll need to obtain the following pieces of information:

Freshdesk domain.

The API token.

The Freshdesk domain is the URL to your account.
Step 4: To obtain the API token, click on your Profile Image icon, then click on Profile Settings.
On the new page, click on View API Key and you should be able to see your token.
Step 5: Now you will need to authorize Maqsam within your Maqsam account. An account admin is needed for this action. Go to the Account Settings, and click on Freshdesk under Integrations.
Step 6: Input the Domain and API Token you collected in Steps 3 and Step 4.
Step 7: Before clicking on Automatically Associate Users, make sure to set the ticket settings to the most suitable configuration.
Step 8: Finally, when you’ve finished the configuration, click on Automatically Associate Users.
