🔍 Overview of Call Transcription and Summary

Leveraging cutting-edge AI, Maqsam’s automatic call transcription and summarization service converts recorded calls into searchable transcripts with speakers, attributes, and concise summaries.

This feature supports English and Arabic and enables teams to analyze conversations without listening to full recordings. It helps uncover trends, improve customer service, increase productivity, support decision-making, and ensure compliance.


⚙️ How to Check Call Summary

There are to methods to check the call summary:

Method One to Check Call Summary

  1. Log in to Maqsam and click on the Calls tab.

  2. Scroll to the call you want to review.

  3. Click the transcription icon on the right side of the recording.

  4. The row will expand to display the call summary.

  5. You can copy, translate, or rate the summary.

Method Two to Check Call Summary

  1. Log in to Maqsam and click on the Calls tab.

  2. Scroll to the call you want to review.

  3. Click on the Call ID.

  4. You will be redirected to the call details page showing the summary.

  5. You can copy, translate, or rate the summary.


📄 How to Read Call Transcription

Here's the steps on how to find and read call transcription: 

  1. From the call summary view, click Transcription.

  2. You will be redirected to the transcription page displaying the full call dialogue.

  3. From there, you can search for specific words or download the transcription.


🔎 How to Search for a Keyword Within a Call

Here's the steps on how to search for a keyword within a call of a call transcription feature:

  1. Log in to Maqsam and click on the Calls tab.

  2. Click Filter and locate the keyword lookup field.

  3. Enter the keyword you want to search for.

    • You can use AND / OR operators to search for multiple keywords.

  4. Filtered results will appear based on your keywords.

    • A red bubble will indicate the number of times the keyword appears in the call.

  5. Click the red bubble to view timestamps of each keyword occurrence.


🔔 How to Create Keyword Alerts

Here's the steps on how to create keyword alerts in the call transcription feature:

  1. Log in to Maqsam and click on the Settings tab.

  2. Under Account Settings, click Keyword Alerts.

  3. Click New Alert to create an alert.

  4. Configure the alert based on your needs.

    • You can use AND / OR operators for multiple keywords.

  5. Save the alert.
