Call Tagging

Learn how to create, manage, and filter call tags in Maqsam to organize your calls and improve reporting.

🔍 Overview of Call Tagging

Maqsam's tagging feature allows you to classify calls with customized labels. A tag identifies the category of a call and enables filtering based on these tags. Administrators and supervisors create tags for agents to choose from and assign to calls.

  • There is no maximum limit for adding tags.

  • Once tags are created in settings, agents and supervisors can add tags from the Dialer, History Log, Calls Page, or Calls Show Page.

  • Tags can be searched with autocomplete.


⚙️ How to Manage Call Tags

Create New Tags

  1. Log in to Maqsam Portal using your username and password.

  2. As an Admin or Supervisor, navigate to Settings.

  3. Under Account Settings, click General.

  4. Scroll to Call Tags and input custom call tags.

  5. Click Update to save changes.

Activate Inactive Tags

  1. Log in to Maqsam Portal using your username and password.

  2. As an Admin or Supervisor, navigate to Settings.

  3. Under Account Settings, click General.

  4. Scroll to Call Tags and click See inactive tags.

  5. Click Activate on the tag you wish to activate.

  6. Click Update to save changes.

Deactivate an Active Tag

  1. Log in to Maqsam Portal using your username and password.

  2. As an Admin or Supervisor, navigate to Settings.

  3. Under Account Settings, click General.

  4. Scroll to Call Tags and click X on the tag you would like to deactivate.

  5. Confirm the deactivation.

📌 Deactivated tags cannot be used to tag new calls but will appear in filtration results and can be reactivated.

Call Filtration With Tags

  1. Sign in using your Maqsam Portal credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Calls Page and click Filter.

  3. Under Tags, enter the tag label and click the Filter button.

📌 To explore results in CSV format, click Export to download a CSV file with tags included.

Call Filtration With No Tags

  1. Sign in using your Maqsam Portal credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Calls Page and click Filter.

  3. Under Properties, click the Untagged icon and click Filter.
