Prepaid Settings
Learn how Maqsam’s prepaid model works, including account balances, thresholds, recharge amounts, and email alerts for better budget control and spending management.
🔍 Overview of Billing & Balance Settings
Billing & balance settings allow Admin users to manage account configurations related to usage tracking, balance thresholds, recharge settings, and email alerts.
Maqsam operates on a monthly commitment-based billing model, starting from $300 depending on the selected plan, where usage is tracked and reflected through the account balance.

📊 Key Terms
-
Uninvoiced Amount: Total consumption not yet invoiced within the current billing period.
-
Available Balance: Current account balance after payments, invoices, and usage deductions.
-
Threshold: The account balance level that triggers an automatic recharge when reached.
-
Recharge To: The target balance your account will be restored to after an automatic recharge.
-
Email Alerts: Notifications sent to specified email addresses when consumption reaches a defined limit.
⚡ How the System Works
-
The account balance is used to track and manage usage costs.
-
Admins can set a Recharge To amount and a Threshold based on expected usage and budget preferences.
-
Daily consumption is deducted from the account balance.
-
When the balance drops below the threshold, an automatic recharge occurs to bring the balance up to the Recharge To amount.
-
If the balance is above the threshold, no recharge is triggered.
